My Thoughts On Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
I think this could be the perfect workout for me. I’ve pretty inactive since I broke my ankle at the beginning of the year and I really need to build up my fitness again. I’m really suffering from a stiff lower back at the moment and I think a full body conditioning workout is exactly what i need to rebuild the core fitness that I require to get back on track. I’m sure it will be hard at first but as the saying goes, no pain, no gain. I had a look on the http://www.ukbjja.org/ website and found my nearest club in my local town. I have been down to meet the head instructor and he has told me a bit more about what to expect and what I will need in terms of equipment, namely, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gi. But they are not too expensive and can be picked up easily from the classified ads online.
He did mention about diet and said that best results can be obtained from a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu workout if it is done in conjunction with healthy, balanced diet, low in sugar, trans fatty acids and alcohol. I guess I am going to have to shake up my lifestyle quite a bit if I am going to do this properly. But the benefits will be untold. Lowered risk of heart and other diseases and better life quality and expectancy. It’s a no brainer really. I really just need to bite the bullet and get started. So I’ll get myself booked in for a session ASAP and I’ll be sure to let you know how things go. I’m sure I’ll be a bit battered and bruised to say the least.
So anyway folks. That is enough from me for this post. Thanks for all the emails you sent in about my last post about used golf clubs by the way. It obviously proved very popular with a number of you. I hope this one does too. Bye for now!
